        NSYSU is located in the southern part of Taiwan with a beautiful campus, and is one of the leading teaching and research universities in Taiwan. In 2013, NSYSU is 
ranked in the range of 101-150 according to Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) in Engineering/Technology and Computer Sciences conducted by the CWCU of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. 
       The Institute of Communications Engineering was founded in 2001. Currently, two of our faculty members are IEEE Fellows, and many of our faculty members are in 
editorial boards of many IEEE journals, including IEEE Trans. Components, Packaging and Manufacturing Technology, IEEE Trans. Microwave Theory and Techniques, IEEE 
Trans. Antennas and Propagation, IEEE Trans. Wireless Communications, and IEEE Trans. Broadcasting. Furthermore, the Institute owns many patents and regularly transfers its newly developed technologies to local companies. Many alumni of the Institute are outstanding leaders in Taiwan telecommunication industry.

     4. Electromagnetic Theory
     5. 3D IC Integration Technology and Design for Mobile Devices
     6. ADVANCED DETECTION AND PROBABILITY THEORY FOR COMMUNICATIONS
     7. Cooperative Communications and Networking
Students must complete a minimum of 24 credits. At most 6 credits of 
“Independent Studies” can be counted towards fulfilling graduation requirements. At least 3 courses shall be taken from the curriculum offered by the International Master's Program in Telecommunication Engineering. At most 2 courses lectured in Chinese can be counted towards fulfilling graduation requirements. At most 1 course about English Technical Writing can be counted towards fulfilling graduation equirements.
